Doug Buebe

Doug Beube physically deconstructs books and sculpts them into seemingly impossible shapes. The artist's fantastical vision reshapes books into forms that mirror their implied content, evoking the playful construct of language.

Doug Beube is a mixed-media visual artist who works in collage, bookworks, installation and photography.

His work is so clever. I am obviously not going to create works of art such as his! But i thought it was interesting. It does not really function as a book though.. it is deconstructing one. Would this kind of thing really fit into the brief of creating a book?
Maybe i need to look at some more books, that think more about the content..
