It was really useful going to sheffield actually, it helped me to clarify what i needed to do. Stefanie Posavec's exhbition summed up what we needed to do. She had three A1 pieces. She had read the novel called on the road and visualised the language structure , rythm and themese contained within the novel into diagramtic/visual form. I could not find any images of this on the interent, but there are some very rough sketches in my notebook.
This was the only one that really helped me with my project though. They were all realted to mapping and the idea of pushing the boundries of ordinary mapping rules. I also have a book that is of great use, called YOU ARE HERE, which also looks at the use of mapping in a unique and orignal way.
