It's been a while..

Thought I would update on here again since I have just been using my other blog recently.
Have had alot on recently work wise and social life! But after the talk with Fred, it seems i am not even going to have a social life anymore...
Anyway, still on the search for a placement. Am praying that I can go to Japan :) Appreciate all that is being done for me.

The top toys brief? Going ok, but i had to pick an idea that meant buying alot of items, and all these items happen to be sold out everywhere! I have the dominos now and have started photographing those, but just had to order an etch-a-sketch. I think the stop Motion will look really good once it is done, I can't wait to get started on it!

Day one of the new brief.

Have a few hours to create a mood board of our art direction for the new brief.

We have to create a title sequence for the top 10 best/worst.... for e4.

Having looked at my childhood toys, i decided to do something that is not completely personal and can relate to other people, i am going to look at the top ten best toys of the 90s.

Plan... i have a fair few photos now..180 to be exact.
But theres only about 5 photos within that.
I got a little too interested in all the warn out detail and damage to the packaging. Just shows its been loved!

-Try some Charity Shops, ask to photograph some of the second hand toys. Or buy some cheap ones.
-Catalogues.
-Photo! Photo!
-Other methods of recording? Do some rubbings, drawings, scans?

It can't be a slow moving project due to the lack of time!!

I have had a change of heart...

I keep doubting my original choice.. have decided to change it to something else that i am completely happy with. I have chosen... toys!
Best toys.
Top Ten Toys.
Works lots better. I am more interested in vintage and collectable toys, but will look at new and old. Going to have to work hard to catch up though. But have already got quite a bit of research and a loft full of old toys and childhood memories!

Signs. What to do next.

Right. Keep questioning my choice of topic.
It's just the best bit, i am researching signs.
And then i think... best?
Best signs sounds a bit dull.
I have found some funny signs.
So i think best thing to do -
Continue taking photographs and split into different categories..
Best - Funny.
Best - Visually.
Best - At instructing.
Then i start to think about how can i bring top ten into this? Well, i guess i will present my work and see where i go from there.
I am going to have to stick with it now, too far in and too late!

Me and my boyfriend went to London for New Year, really was a good trip :) And was very patient with me, stopping every few minutes to take photos :/
These are the best shots, my focus of most of the photographs was signs as this is what i am doing for my next project.
